Wednesday - May 4

Same ole, same ole today....but no rain!    That's coming the next 2 days!    Mark was off to East Peoria to get some final hardware for our bench table.   Special order, so....we'll soon be good to go with the table although the temporary fix has worked fine!

I went into town with the loaner car (a little bigger than Little Navy and a sedan).    Met the BBB girls (babies, books and bridge) for lunch at Destihl.    We all played bridge with the hubbies back in the 70's, 80's, 90's and beyond.     We had not been together since May 2, 2019, so...............LOTS to chat about with many laughs.    Lunch was great and just a very fun outing with these long-time friends.

Sue, Karen, Pat, Sharon, Holly
We missed Cathy and Ruth

So, while I was with my friends, Mark was at his 1st therapy session at Turning Point.     He had a good appt. and met Donna (my favorite) and has 7 more sessions scheduled.   Hopefully, they can help his back.

Mark got the table totally fixed and we just had a relaxing afternoon with our books.   It was in the low 50's - burrrrr!  Leftovers for supper with a glass of wine and called it a day!

I am dismayed to hear that "hogs" have been invading our beautiful Cypress Trail and trampling on the flowers which they've now dug up.    The plan had been to plant new flowers, but not till the hogs are under control!    Good grief!!!!
