 HAPPY  ANNIVERSARY   PHILIP and ANNETTE

These two are celebrating 17 years of marriage today!    Congratulations!
Cheers for many more happy, healthy years together!

So thankful they blessed us with Luke and Maeve

Probably a memorable anniversary as Annette has Covid!!!    That stuff is all over the place and every day, hearing more new cases.

The sun was shining brightly when we got up and continued throughout the day with not a cloud in the sky!    Wonderful!!!  Mark and I left at 8 as we were off to Peoria to visit our niece and husband.    But since we were going thru Eureka, he suggested we stop at Caleri's for coffees/pastries.    He had a cinnamon roll and a peach muffin for me - really good stuff.  Brought some extras for breakfast tomorrow.   Continued onto Peoria and found Lisa and John's beautiful home in a lovely woodsy area.

Next Saturday is a baby shower for Lisa but we'll be in Iowa City so decided to deliver their baby gift in person and take them to breakfast/lunch.    They gave us a tour of their home, we sat and yakked and then went to Childers Eatery in the Shoppes at Grand Prairie.    This a great place and we all had breakfast and enjoyed it + their juice bar for some healthy concoctions (all but Mark).    Said our good byes with prayers and best wishes for a healthy baby boy come July.

On home and later took our first walk around KK since we got here 10 days ago!   UNREAL!!!    But today, there are lots of people out and about, sitting outside their campers, a big party under the shelter, kids running around, etc.   Sooo good to see!

Enjoyed watching the pre-derby festivities especially all the hats!    We were on our way into town when the actual race was happening and couldn't find it on a radio station, so.....sounds quite exciting and big surprise!!!

Met Roger and Barb at The Ozark House for dinner - it was a very packed place with graduations and proms happening this weekend.    We had a fun visit and caught up on each others news.   Lots of laughs with these two...
