Rainy day......we packed up the car and had breakfast at Cindy's with Bob and Linda, then said our good byes and headed back to KK with heavy rain off and on.
Unloaded the car, unpacked some of the stuff on Flo and then I was off again to meet Claire at her house and together we drove to Clinton in the rain. We've always enjoyed LaTeaDa tea room but haven't been there in years. It is as good as ever + they now serve wine and awesome desserts as always. We also shopped upstairs and had some retail therapy - cute, cute stuff!
A fun outing and the sun was shining when we left. I visited with Claire back at her house, then stopped in to see the boys and drop off some yummy bread from Basil Tree (Anne loves her bread) and on home.
Mark had therapy this afternoon and arrived at KK shortly after me. Finished unpacking and putting suitcases away.
So our big whirlwind trip of 5 days (Iowa City, Dixon, Mendota) has ended and I'm thankful the family got thru it all staying healthy. However, today we hear that Brooke, Blair and Bob (Brooke's Dad) have tested positive!!!!! Stay tuned. 🙏🙏🙏
