Sunday - May 1

Burrrr........not a nice May Day or start of this beautiful month.    Cold, very windy and no sun - felt in the 40's all day long.     We went to 10:00 Mass at Holy Trinity with Father Stirniman.    We sat with Anne and Liam and Connor served Mass.    8 little ones (7 girls and 1 boy) made their First Communion from the CCD class.    The choir was magnificent - wow, wow and more wow!

Onto Coffee Hound and the place was packed and no tables to be had.    Grandpa and boys stood in line for coffees/hot chocolate and Anne and I picked out pastries next door at Ivy Lane Bakery.    We had a nice round table and sat and gabbed enjoying our breakfast.     The boys were off and running with a bunch of lawns to mow - with all the rain, they are keeping very busy + more rain coming this week!!!

Mark and I ran a few more errands and on home - good day to hibernate!

Anne and her tall boys

Back to Flo to hibernate on this nasty day.....sure doesn't feel like May weather nor will it for the next several days!   We had some hot tea, read our books and happy to be indoors.   I sure feel for Liam and Connor mowing all those lawns which totaled 11 with 5 more to do tomorrow.    Wow, they will sleep good tonight with all that fresh air.

Meanwhile back in NC, Miss Maeve is putting on a little show of beauty (herself and the scenery)!

LOVES to pose- a happy, happy girl!

8 of the 12 siblings did Zoom - our 1st time in 2 weeks as we were in NC.    Big topic tonight was the serious back/leg issues that Janet, Lydia and Mark are facing + shoulder pain for Joan.

Have a good week!
