Thursday - May 5

The rain started around 7 AM and has been coming down all day long.  UGLEEEE!    We had a quiet morning on Flo catching up on e-mails and stuff as the rain continued.    We left at 11:30 for town and another fun outing and lunch.

Today we were with Mark's high school classmates (Judy and Lynn and Lynn's husband).    It's Cinco de Mayo day and we met at Ancho and Agave for wonderful Mexican fare (quesadillas, tacos, burrito, chicken chili bean soup,) and delicious margaritas!    And then topped off with mini churros and 3 dipping sauces (raspberry, vanilla and caramel)!    YUMMMY.   It was a happening place and everyone having a good time - margaritas were everywhere!   😃

Cheers~!

We enjoyed a great visit and then said our good byes till this fall.    This has been a really nice little get together tradition that all started at the 56th reunion in Branson last September.

Mark and I had a few stops and then on home.    Another good afternoon to hunker down!

Luke and Blair's 3rd grade class went to the Planetarium in Gastonia, NC a few days ago.

Annette is with Maeve's kindergarten class at the NC Zoo in Asheboro (this is the world's largest zoo) today.   I did not know that!
