Saturday - August 3

 We are HOME!!!

Today it was all about the weather and watching pending rain, thunderstorms coming around us.    We enjoyed delicious donuts from Madsen Donuts at Geneva-on-the-Lake which we picked up yesterday and next door to Katie's Korner Ice Cream.

We left the dock at 8:15 and my Captain was very savvy about dodging the rain/storms which we could see on radar.   He altered our course a bit cruising closer to shore in case we needed to get off the lake.   But, other than a little shower, we were good to go and ended this big trip (3 days shy of 8 weeks) with 108.6 miles.

Pretty rainbow along the way

Tonight our favorite entertainers (Gatlin) from Fort Myers are at the Port Clinton Elks - would love to have seen them (we did 1 year ago), but we weren't sure which day we would be back, so....they had a huge sold-out crowd last year.

My "boat sisters" (Donna, Chris and Teri) and hubbies have returned a few days ago from their big trip to Presque Isle, Michigan, Mackinac Island, etc.   We'll catch up next week.

We went to a favorite "1812" for a wonderful dinner and celebrated our big trip!

Happy boaters and wonderful memories!
