Christmas 2020

Very COLD and sunny, but only got to 19.   Hope y'all had a wonderful Christmas?    We are back home after a very fun and special day with Anne, Liam, Connor and Auntie Karen.    We are happy and stuffed from all the good eating.

Started the day arriving at the Campbell's at 9, opened about 1/2 the presents and then brunch (breakfast casserole, magic marshmallow crescents and cherry braid +++ mimosas.)    Back to the presents and then a relaxing afternoon.     Gibson really fared very well for his 1st Christmas and the boys definitely had a "golf-themed" Christmas - apparently their new favorite sport.

Big dinner at 4 with ham and all the fixins'.     Enjoyed phone calls and face time with the kids and lots of e-mails and text messages from other family/friends.   A very happy Christmas Day!

We watched the East Peoria Festival of Lights (truly spectacular and the 36th annual parade which was actually filmed back in November).   I then watched the Christmas special "Call the Midwife"!   Oh it was so good to be reunited with all these beloved characters who are so endearing and bring tears every time.   Can't wait for the 2021 season to begin in January.

From all of us to all of you...

MERRY  CHRISTMAS!
