Friday - December 18

Ryan came home today and is sooo happy and we are all sooo happy for he and Molly!     A true miracle!     Thank you God.

Mostly cloudy today, windy (a RAW wind as my Dad would say).   We did our at-home exercises.

Mark took my computer in this morning for a new battery (which had been ordered).     They said it would be ready at 3.    The tech guy called at 2 and said he had ordered the wrong battery connector, so.....we could come get it and it will be fine.    It just doesn't hold the charge.    So, new battery/connector will be in early next week,    Mark also went to storage and on home.

I thoroughly enjoyed a manicure late morning - 1st one in well over a month.    Sad that my nail salon which is always a bustling busy place (especially in December) was very quiet - hard times for so many businesses!     While I was getting pampered by Lisa, Mark ran some errands (picked up delicious chicken and ham salad from College Hills Meats and some adult beverages from Binney's).

Stopped at Steak 'n Shake for lunch-to-go and on home.    Watched more Hallmark movies, read and played against each other in virtual euchre.

I had a SEVERE earache this afternoon.    I sometimes get these (maybe 2-3X a year and they are a doozy).     A while ago, the doctor said could be change in the barometric pressure.    Apparently, that did happen this afternoon according to our radar screen?    Ibuprofen eventually kicks in, but it can be awhile.

Our grandkiddos are officially now on long Christmas break...

Enjoy this last busy weekend before Christmas - please safe and healthy!   🎄🎄🎄
