Saturday - December 26

Another bright sunshiny day - we've been very blessed this month of December with an abundance of sunshine as it's usually so dreary and gloomy with lots of grey skies in IL during the winter months.

We did our therapy exercises, Mark picked up "senior" breakfasts from IHOP (pancakes and French toast) and then off to storage to get our bins and start the tearing down and packing up of Christmas and our stuff.    We have several days so just planning to plug away at this.

While at storage, we walked 5 laps around inside of building to get some exercise!   Started packing the decorations away and later, went to Anne's with containers for yesterday's delicious leftovers.

Played euchre with Mark and Nancy - the guys beat us 2 of 3....arghhhh!

We watched "USS Christmas" tonight - soooo good!    All about a Tiger Cruise which we did with the Navy and Ryan back in 2012 on an aircraft carrier.    Of all the Hallmark movies we've watched this December, this was definitely my favorite!

Sad to hear about the death of a very sweet gal, Bev Sohn who we've known for many years thru bridge and other friends.    She was one courageous, brave, beautiful lady who fought multiple myeloma for many years.    The last time I saw Bev (before the pandemic), we sat beside each other getting manicures.   RIP Bev.....
