Wednesday - December 16

What a surprise to wake up to a light dusting of snow!     Another dreary cold day in central IL.

View from our backyard

Mark had therapy at 8:45 and I did mine at home this morning.   Samantha suggested things to do (use the bucket) if/when spasms occur.   Also, trying some new exercises at home.

We had our yearly physicals late morning - all good for now, so very thankful about that.    We so like Dr. Pilcher and discussed so many things - shoulders, backs, families, vacations, Covid, vaccine, etc.    He REALLY feels by August, 2021, there will be no more masks and we will all be free of Covid!!!   Let's hope 'n pray that's the case.

After that visit, we ran some errands including stopping at Anne's to pick up a coconut cream pie she had gotten for us thru the boys friend's hockey team.   It came from Busy Corner and was sooo yummy and much appreciated by our very thoughtful daughter!    Picked up lunch from Culver's (shared a yummy fish sandwich and cheese curds).

Sooooo delicious!

Good day to hunker down by the fire and enjoy the mail as the Christmas cards and letters are trickling in.    Played some virtual euchre with Mark and enjoyed leftovers (Mexican) for dinner + a margarita.

Been texting alot with my Canadian friend, Louise and comparing notes on our same-day surgery.    She is doing well after her mastectomy but lying low like us.    The current temp there is -17 with the wind chill..................whoaaaaaa, no complaints about our weather and little bit of snow.

Our nephew-in-law, Ryan sent another funny, but upbeat update on his health and he expects to be released Friday......yeah!!!!!!

Played 3 games of euchre with Mark and Nancy - the Marks won 2 of 3, but very strange things happening with my tablet tonight????
