Monday - July 8

Warm and sunny - 83 for a high.    We were busy little beavers doing a final cleaning and getting Catrina spic 'n span!   After lunch we cleaned the outside!   My hand and shoulder and Mark's back and knees got a real workout!

Mark rode his bike to the hardware store for a few things.  Later in the afternoon we walked downtown - I had an iced latte and Mark had ice cream.    We walked around a bit and then stopped to check on a restaurant for possible breakfast when Paul and Kathy are here - "Windows on the Bay".....nearby was River Watch, so we stopped in the cool AC for drinks and an appetizer.   Then on home and washed Catrina's windows before putting up the outside screens.    And did one more load of laundry.    Big day!

Not seeing the flowers here in Alex Bay like everywhere in Canada but here are a few we walked past today...

Tomorrow Paul and Kathy arrive and will be with us on Catrina till Sunday - can't wait to show them this area and all the beauty of the 1000 Islands.     Not sure how much blogging I'll be doing these next few days.
