Saturday - July 13

An absolutely perfect day to be on the water, but first things first with a trip to The Coffee Co. where we enjoyed our coffees, pastries and breakfast sandwiches.   Back to Catrina, undid power cords and water hose, the lines untied and we said good bye to Kingston leaving at 10:30.    Another fun visit!

We cruised to The Singer Castle and enjoyed our 1 hour tour with Shay - One other couple and their son were in our group.    We toured this historic home in 2011 but today seemed to be more thorough with Shay who grew up in this area and very familiar with the Singer Castle.   Frederick Bourne was the president (5th generation of Singer).    He and Emma had 12 children.....quite an interesting story and well worth a visit if you're in this area - accessible only by boat but can rent out the island for an evening with a staff of 1 for $800+ per night (more on the weekends).   But you would have the entire castle (which is supposedly haunted) al to yourself!

9 miles west and we were back in Carnegie Bay our Alex Bay marina.    We had some snacks, Paul and Mark rested and then off to 5:30 Mass at St. Cyril's here in Alex Bay.

We went to the Clipper Inn outside Clayton for delicious dinner - this is a wonderful supper club and our 3rd visit - always sooo good!

While we were at dinner, Michael texted the awful news about the attempted shooting of Donald Trump.   God bless America!
